Welcome to Meraki’s Method! We have been going through some changes and we wanted to pull them all together into one place and hit you will all the updates at once. We figured it would be less painful that way. Are you ready for this? Braced for impact? Good.
First of all, we have got a new mascot for the blog here at Meraki’s Method and everything that goes with it. This awesome little bee guy has yet to be named. We are going to name him via some kooky method on stream someday no doubt. Perhaps tomorrow! But for now, he is nameless. He is going to be replacing the little yellow head that is my current icon everywhere so keep an eye out for him.

Changed URL
You might have noticed that you are reading this on a new URL. Then again you might not have noticed. You know now though! We were sitting on meraki22.com, and we have relocated to Merakismethod.com. Purely because I feel it looks neater and more pleasant on the eye-orbs. This site is a straight copy so anything on the old site should still be here. I have however been updating tags and things to make things easier to find. Hopefully, this brand new sparkly clone of Meraki’s Method will be even more useful.
Mailing List
If you haven’t signed up to the Meraki’s Method Mailing List; you totally should. I pinky promise I won’t spam your inbox with nonsense. There is a strict one email a week policy; on a Monday morning. I use it to update you with links to last weeks blog posts. I also include any upcoming in-game events to be aware of. And for sugar coating, I toss in some advance copy tip and tricks here and there. And most of all I try and keep it short and sweet.
Streams
Schedule
Our stream community has been picking up and we have an awesome bunch of folks that hang out there on a regular basis. I’m over the moon with it and I love doing it with you guys. You can catch the streams by following our channel HERE. And our schedule is is a little up in the air due to the kids but we try to stick to this general outline:
- Mon: 12.30 – 2.30pm GMT – Lunch Hour Gold Making + 11pm – 1/2am Old School Leveling
- Tuesday: No Stream. I do Blog Work on Tuesday!
- Wed: 12.30 – 2.30pm GMT – Lunch Hour Gold Making + 5.30 – 8pm GMT Random WoW Banter
- Thur: 12.30 – 2.30pm GMT – Lunch Hour Gold Making + 8pm – ?? Roleplay Stream
- Fri: 12.30 – 2.30pm GMT – Lunch Hour Gold Making + 11pm – 1/2am Old School Leveling
- Saturday: Day Stream Once a Month (Dates Announced Via Discord and Twitter)
- Sunday – 1/3pm – 8pm WoW Bits and Sims Sunday
I am hoping to work in some weeknight streams as well on a mix of things broken down below.
Leveling Nights
I have a friend that plays SW:TOR. He has played WoW in the past but has never really enjoyed it. Perhaps because we badgered him into coming to play and then abandoned him to the leveling process alone while we were all at end game content. Or dragged him through boosted dungeons where he had no idea what was going on. So in a newly found bid to get him interested in WoW, and to make leveling at least one of my allied races slightly more digestible.
I am going to level it along with him. We’re going to move slowly, enjoy and explore the zones and discover and work over the lore as we go. I’m hoping that as well as leveling these streams could be like a visual and vastly more chaotic version of our Exploring the World of Warcraft Series. Join us on stream for this on Monday and Friday nights at 11pm GMT.
An Irishman, a Scotsman, an Englishman and me walked into a BG…
Here’s the thing. I like collecting things. Some of those things are titles. Like Khan and Battlemaster. And I don’t have those yet, but I would like them. I also know, however, that I cannot get these things alone. Because I suck. So I have asked, pleaded and bribed some friends into helping me farm from of these PVP achievements.
These friends happen to be an Englishman, an Irishman, and a Scotsman. So, of course, we’re going to stream the antics. Let’s hope it’s as entertaining as the setup. Times and dates are yet to be sorted out for this one!
Roleplay Stream
We’ve also decided to carve out a night for some roleplay on stream, as a lot of people said they would be interested in it. So on Thursday nights, we have an RP stream about 8 pm GMT. We talk over different RP related topics and guides, not unlike the blog posts found on here. And we do it all while RPing in the game for a real-time tutorial.
