Where is Arathi Highlands?
Arathi Highlands is a small zone to the north end of the Eastern Kingdoms. You can get to Arathi Highlands by flying there Any other location in Eastern Kingdoms. Or if you are level 120 you can use the Warfront portals in your BFA capital. The closest Horde city is Undercity and the closest Alliance city is Ironforge.
What To Buy And From Who?
There is only one Horde Settlement in Arathi Highlands and one Alliance Settlement so I will cover each separately below. The Horde will be going to Hammerfall in the northeast corner of the zone and the Alliance settlement is Refuge Point in the middle.
Arathi Highlands – Hammerfall
Tunkk
This is the Leatherwork Supplies guy. He can be found on the lower level or ground floor of the settlement to the back end inside the building. The building will be a long hall in the older version of the Arathi Highlands and more rounded raised building in the newer version, but it’s the same place and the same vendor and he sells the same limited quantity leatherworking recipe:
[Pattern: Raptor Hide Harness] he sells it for about 20silver and on my
realm it holds an AH value of almost 5,000gold. Bargain.
Jun’ha
This is the Tailoring Supplies lady and she is on the opposite side to Tunkk. In the older version of Arathi Highlands this building is a half-ruined longer building as well but in the newer version, it’s another nice new round roofed building. Either way, she’s inside and she sells the same things!
[Pattern: Azure Silk Cloak] which she sells for 12 silver. On my realm, this recipe, due to being one of the more rare spawning Tailoring recipes has an AH value of 40,000gold
Mu’uta
This fellow is on the upper level just past the flight point in the Blacksmithing forge on the newer version of Hammerfall. On the older version, he is on the ground level to the left by the forge. And he sells a Green BOE Bow:
[Dense Shortbow] sold for 3gold44silver and retailing on my realm for an AH value of 300 with some historical pricing putting it up near 10k or more.
Keena
Our last stop is just outside the inn on the upper level with Keena, this is on the new version. On the older version of
[Design: Ruby Crown of Restoration] for 48silver with an AH value of 2-70g
[Recipe: Roast Raptor] sold for 40silver and selling on the AH for 80-100g
[Pattern: Barbaric Leggings] is sold for around 10silver and with an AH value of 200g
[Recipe: Curiously Tasty Omelet] sold for 12silver and selling on the AH for 400-500g
Four quick stops for a potential profit of anywhere in the region of 40-50k gold. If you are lucky enough to catch the cloak pattern and if these items sell as well on your realm as on mine. They are mostly recipes so they should be decently desirable on all realm types.
Refuge Point
Androd Fadran.
This is the Leatherworking Supplies fellow for Alliance side. He sells another nice leatherworking pattern, though not the harness that you get on Horde side. I am not sure where this fellow is as my Ally toon is not high enough to have unlocked the new Arathi Highlands. But as all the horde vendors swapped over I assume the same is the case for the Alliance side.
[Pattern: Raptor Hide Belt] sold here for 21silver and retailing on the AH for 900 – 9000gold.
Hammon Karwn
This is the Superior Tradesman and he sells similar items to Keena minus one of the cooking recipes as shown below:
[Design: Ruby Crown of Restoration] for 48silver with an AH value of 2-70g
[Recipe: Roast Raptor] is sold for 40silver and selling on the AH for 80-100g
[Pattern: Barbaric Leggings] sold for around 10silver and with an AH value of 200g
Drovnar Strongbrew
This is an Alchemy Supplies dwarven fellow and besides crystal vials, he occasionally sells some fairly useless potions but also an alchemy recipe
[Recipe: Frost Protection Potion] sold for about 20silver it has an AH value of 20-2000 gold
Jannos Ironwill
This is the macecrafter, another dwarf. He sells a few common quality weapons you could always try and flip but that might be a bit more risky outside of an RP realm. Along with those however he also sells;
[Plans Solid Iron Maul] for 25 silver which sells on the AH for about 2000 gold.
Conclusion
Whichever side you are on this is a quick and easy little stop to make. Doubly so if you are in the area for Warfront reasons anyway! Remember, if you buy these on the higher level version; you can always fly down and zone into the older version and hit these vendors again. Two for one! Can’t argue with that, right?
Let me know how this goes for you, as always I hope it works and I love to hear how you guys do with it! Happy Hunting!
