Gold making for Casuals is a series of gold making tips for World of Warcraft players that want to make some extra gold but don’t want to spend a lot of time doing it. These tips will be things that you can quickly and easily and won’t take too much time and effort out of your regular play. Honeycomb Farm

Today we are looking at a quick and easy little farm in Northern Stranglethorn called the Honeycomb Farm. This farm is inside the instance; Zul’Gurub. It can be set on heroic or normal, it doesn’t matter which, and once inside you turn left and run around the corner from the entrance. Here you will find a huge purple bug mini-boss. Killing her and looting her will give you the item; Hive Queen’s Honeycomb. Once you open the honeycomb up you will receive a mix of three items; Twilight Jasmine, Volatile Life, and Volatile Air.

Value and Profit

The Jasmine is not all that valuable but can be milled into ink and used in inscription. The Volatiles, however, are very valuable, selling for at least 30g each. That is if you don’t want to use the Volatile Life in Vial of the Sands materials; or transmute it into more expensive Volatiles.

Whatever way you decide to use these materials they can be valuable and the farm takes only a few minutes to run. Once you have killed the mini-boss you can run back outside the instance and reset it. You can do this ten times before you get locked out for an hour. But those ten runs will only take you 10-15 minutes to complete. The ten Honeycomb items you can collect will get you roughly 50 of each material. Sold raw on my server at 30g each that is 3000g profit in 10-15 minutes. I rarely sell them raw however as they are far more valuable to me as Vial of the Sands materials.
